and here the smile from kid around the Rajegwesi Beach...
Last September I trip to Banyuwangi just to spend my holiday. I got there by Mutiara Timur Train, 7 hours from Surabaya. I stayed at my friend's house at Sarongan, a small village near Kendenglembu Plantation. Yes my friend's house is surrounded by Cocoa Plantation (sweet...)
In Banyuwangi I went to Rajegwesi Beach, so sad that we couldn't make to go to Sukamade Beach which is well-known by its Penangkaran Penyu because we were running out of time. But it was so much fun when we went to Rajegwesi Beach. Sure it is a hidden paradise from East Jawa, especially Banyuwangi.
The popular traditional foods in Banyuwangi are Ayam Pedas and Rujak Soto. As for me, Rujak Soto has weird taste. Imagine Rujak mixed with Soto just turn me off. Ayam Pedas is so spicy as hell, but it has a better taste than Rujak Soto (munch... munch...).
